"We figured we would go here to eat because my husband wanted ice cream and saved a trip somewhere else. The food really surprised us. It was so good. It's a little pricey, but you won't be disappointed."

"This is simply an awesome place. Called scoops and more, but it’s not just their ice cream that shines. All the food is delicious. It’s a classic American diner type of joint in terms of the foods they offer, Lots of sandwiches, burgers, pizza, etc. I tried out their fish sandwich with mushrooms and provolone and ranch, as well as their hand packed milkshake with peanut butter cup and peanut butter twist. The sandwich was huge. For around $15: really can’t be beat by many places. Even half is enough to satisfy most people. It’s got a nice fried piece of haddock (I think), and the cheese and mushrooms were flavorful (not the freshest but that’s ok). A good amount of bread, maybe tad much. Still, very good. The fries were also surprisingly good. Nice and crispy on the outside, and quite fluffy in the middle. They give you a nice portion size. They aren’t seasoned much, but are still solid. Went so well with the ranch, and the fish was great with ranch too. Their ranch is just awesome. The milkshake was pretty good. I think it would be even better if I just got ice cream in a cup, though. There were nice little peanut butter pieces throughout that I liked. Solid but would have liked it to be creamier."

"This little diner is adorable. All the staff were so sweet and the food and ice cream was really well made. Upscale diner food with an ice cream twist. It made me really happy to experience. I ordered the pb&j sundae which was phenomenal. They use strawberry jam with chunky strawberries and fresh warm peanuts: magnificent. For food we got the hot dog meal and the pizza meal, we honestly assumed they would be very low value but NOT AT ALL. Spectacularly well made. Props to the chef."

"Creamy soft serve (chocolates or vanilla), raspberry or lemon dole whip, lots of hard ice cream choices, and amazing sundaes. Service was as quick as possible with a single customer-facing employee. Unsurprisingly on a Saturday summer evening, there was a line of nearly 20 customers. An older woman was impatient (e.g., little interest in helping describe specialty items) & gruff. But the soft serve is delicious and refreshingly affordable ($4 for a small, $6 for a large), so we’ll stop by again when we’re in Pittsburgh."

"Scoops has delicious food prepared quickly! The french fries were phenomenal. The level of crisp is chefs kiss. Buffalo chicken fries were delicious and the Philly cheese steak was awesome with a toasted bun! Root beer float is your standard vanilla ice cream covered in Braqs. The brownie sundae was such a great deal with the quantity you receive, including the brownie being heated! Can't wait to go back! We have our points ready to spend for the rewards."
